Oxy Clean, New Graveyard Design

Photobucket

Well the infomercial loudman kicked the bucket on June 28, 2009. I heard somebody say he died with a shamwow around his neck, but I'm sure that's a joke haha. What I find interesting is that my Dad was just telling me a couple of days ago, after MJ and Fawsett(sp?) died. He told me that there would be one more death to come, because they always come in threes, or so he says. But this time he was right. So I'll confirm that deaths come in threes for now, could change if a few celebrities drop dead again anytime soon.

Kind of interesting that MJ and Mays were both 50? No? Meh, I found it a bit strange.

Here's that angry little teddy bear we used to know and love, Billy Mays at his best, in memory, but wait there's MORE, RIP.

Nike: Impossible is Nothing.. But Not Nike.

Alright so, I know I've been slacking really hard on this blog. But that's going to slowly change, I will keep this going don't worry. I started another blog though, it's more of an outlet for me right now, as I want to make a difference, I want to do something.. So I thought I might help others in accomplishing their "IMPOSSIBLE" which exists for everybody, atleast I believe it does. Feel free to visit the blog, I literally just created it tonight, so it's SUPER Beta.. After accomplishing my IMPOSSIBLE, which was getting into my dream school, Queen's U. I think I might be able to share with others my experiences and trials.. I'm also planning to talk to others to get more perspective on accomplishing the IMPOSSIBLE.

If you've enjoyed my blog here, I would assume this would tickle your joy joints as well.

8 Hours Of Heated Creativity Between Two Dedicated Citizens

Tony Dinh - (Definition) Bloody Video Prodigy

Photobucket

So I spent a little over 8 hours I believe, in Tony's room, working tirelessly on a video for our fellow peers. Or should I say, used-to-be-peers, well basically it's a graduation gift if I confused you, I'm sorry. We took some video of seniors around school and then we put together this nice little package, for all the Grad's to take with them to University. By package I mean, the video is the package and inside includes, Tony and my gratitude towards the students, funny moments, legacies, and so on..

I'm not going to lie, it was a very long day, and truly was work, and I guess you ask Tony and I why on earth we would want to spend so much time doing work. I would guess both of our answers would be the same, because we love to work with video and sound, and on top of that we're making something that our friends can take as a gift, that stars them and should hopefully keep the good memories vibrant to their imaginations as they enter a new season of life.

The last clip in the video is very meaningful and truly ties the entire video up, it's going to cause the girls to aww, which will be funny. But it's message is real, basically the actor (we'll call him) says that he didn't like the people in high school until grade 12, and once he gave them a chance and saw them for who they really were, he realized that they are all unique and amazing people. That's just how I felt when I came to Markville Secondary this year, I felt like everybody was the same, but I now know after meeting many awesome people. That they are all unique and sweet peeps, and I know they are all going places in life because they are very, very determined.

So, for now I can only give you words, but I'll post our collaborative effort after commencement, or perhaps on commencement day. Which is this upcoming Wednsday, June 24, 2009.

Until then, I will leave you with what I've written and shared! This is Tony and I's first collaboration and we plan to put more together.

A Guy Named.. Hooked a Mans up!

Alright, so I was really busy and I've finally finished school! A year delay, but it's all good because I had a WICKED year!

The title of this post is relating to.. Liam Goslett, he reminded me of my blog and that I need to get my shiznit together and update it AGAIN!! So thanks for that homie, again he's still running strong with his blog at Common Ventures figure it out.

Let me start with the new Hillsong United album, I was at their concert about two weeks ago now, it was unreal. This is the new album art, it's actually not on the cd anywhere, the cd didn't even come with a booklet. Which is strange but when you understand the album name "Tear Down The Walls" you will understand why the CD case only has a sticker around it (that I literally just teared off to get to the CD.. with some excess sticker on my new case!)

Here's a snippet from Hillsong United.com's blog, Joel Houston does a good job of explaining the new album..
It's 2009 and finally I am holding a finished, printed, real-life copy of our new project, dual title and all; a CROSS // the EARTH : TEAR DOWN THE WALLS. it has no cover.

And already we’re receiving the letters. "i didn't receive the booklet", "did the recession bite your production budget?", "how am i supposed to open it?" etc....

and i have to laugh.. cause in my mind i thought it was obvious.. i thought it was genius.. no cover... a wall adorned with bill posters representing the EARTH... four triangles (representing four worship nights) revealing a CROSS.. As if to say the message of Christ is written across all things.. And all of this displayed without a cover; representing transparency; the walls removed; no reason to hide; just as we are; but by the grace of God.. and for added effect we'd put a paper sticker that you literally have to 'tear' to get into the album... But obviously not so obvious.. And apparently less than close to genius.. cause here i am spelling it out for everyone...

So yeah, the concert was legit. Here's a few clips of the crazy worship night,

This one was the craziest song by far.. So simple, and absolutely insane, I swear this is where I lost my voice.. Rocking out with the macmurray's, haha it was great!

Now I recommend you pick up a copy of the album, I got mine off iTunes when it first released, and my best friend Krystle hooked me up with a CD for my grad gift, how nice eh!

Here's a free download of one of the songs, sorry I'm not leaking this one, no stealing hillsong united, I want them to keep doing what they are doing! Here's the free link!!

Almost Done School..

Hey everybody, so I've been slacking since early May I believe, on updating my blog. I haven't died, I just got exciting news in May and I've been riding a wave since.

I'll share my findings and experiences that have happened over the past couple of weeks soon, I've only got a week of school left, so you can expect to see some posts come afloat.

In the meantime, if there are any Hillsong United Junkies reading this, the new album just released "Tear Down The Walls". GO GET IT. It's amazing.

Speaking of Hillsong United I just saw them live this weekend at the Molson Amphitheatre.. AMAZING, I've been dancing and singing since. I'll share some of that with you guys soon too.

Here's a song I found on the I-Heart revolution website. www.i-heart.org

I hope that satisfies all of you out there who actually kept up with my blog.. More is to come my friends! I'm alive and I'm free (almost).

Signing off.. Nick Francis, mad styles, mad fresh, mad delayed..
